How I Use It
My students create public service announcements as a final project in class using iMovie (and iTunes). They are able to take pictures, record videos and access their iTunes accounts on the iPad, then create an engaging movies that can be exported to iTunes or YouTube. I take 2 days to teach students the programs (day one: capturing video and images, importing them into iMovie, day two: editing video, visual effects, uploading).
My Take
I found the previous versions of iMovie to be glitchy and not very user friendly, especially for high school students. The updates decreases crashes and glitches and provides more options for creativity.
