How I Use It

Since I train teachers, I use this app quite often to create presentations for my trainings. It can be used on either a computer or a personal device, and because it is web based, you can get to your saved presentation anywhere, as long as you are connected to the Internet. I haven't had my students create projects in Haiku Deck yet.

My Take

I LOVE using Haiku Deck for my own personal use as a trainer. However, when I was teaching students in the classroom I didn't have my students use this app, because I was concerned about inappropriate images showing up. Since students can search for Creative Commons photos by just putting in a search term, I was concerned about the potential problem we might have. This being said, I know of other teachers who have used it with no problems.

Haiku Deck is a great presentation tool that focus on the visual, rather than too many words.
