How I Use It
We have used Haiku Deck in collaboration with research. Students researched certain animals and were able to easily import the photos they needed and also change the layout of the slides. I loved that it would not allow them to use many words. They had to be concise and use it as a talking point. I have also used this in a technology based iPad class. Students did their introductions to the class this way. They then presented and shared the Haiku Deck with me.
My students (middle school special needs) begged me to allow them to research so they would be able to create with this app. They story boarded their slides on paper and then were easily able to input the information. I did not really show them how to use the app. They loved being able to choose their "life like" pictures. Their response was "clear and neat pictures" In addition my students said it was very easy to use and it has become their go to for presentations.
