How I Use It
Haiku Deck would be an excellent alternative to provide students with a different presentation tool besides Keynote on the iPad. It is also an excellent way to have a discussion about copyright and why using Creative Commons images is important.
My Take
Haiku Deck is an iPad app that guides the user through creating presentations. With only a few choices in slide setups, it frees up the decision making in the presentations to focus more on the content and less on the details of the slides. It is easy to create new presentations, easy to publish and share presentations, and fun to explore the creative commons image search. However, better filters in place for the Creative Commons image search would be preferable - while inappropriate images are not common, they can show up occasionally.
