How I Use It
This app is perfect for grouping students AND teachers for professional learning. Not quite sure why it's only 3 stars because it does everything I need it to, including extra features like randomly choosing someone for a door prize and then holding that person out so others can also win additional prizes. It holds attendance well and I can choose groups based on what I define, or some presets such as gender and ethnicity. It's also great for learning names with faces since each person has a picture that can be assigned to their information. I've used this for gatherings too when I needed to make groups at home. The time involved is up front, but once that's done it actually saves more time at the back end than if you had done it without the app.
My Take
I find this app to be a time saver and create a better understanding of who my students or teachers are and what their needs are with regards to the task at hand. It has more than I expected and found additional tools that I listed above which ended up being major time savers and helpful for other group activities I realized I needed. It's super simple to use and intuitive design. I would like it implemented across the system so that I can share my groups with other teachers.
