How I Use It
Google Earth has become a valuable resource for geography projects about our state, for pointing out places visited by guest speakers, to find a location that a student finds in a book they are reading and more. It is easy for students to explore on their own, and when put up on a display, it can be used for whole class discussions as well.
My Take
When students want to know about a place on earth, they can use Google Earth to virtually travel there and get a sense of what it is like through the satellite images, photos, and information.
