How I Use It
I haven't used this in class yet, but I plan to use it for math work - having students explain multiple ways to solve problems, or just a way to record themselves working through a problem.
I also plan to use it for recording instructional videos that students can reference when working independently.
I plan to delve further into the presentation aspect, and will hopefully use this for a future research project!
This product has many uses. I have yet to explore the presentation aspect in depth, but looking at it as a way for teachers to allow students to verbally express how to do a variety of problems is a great tool! This tool is useful over the app Screenchomp (though Screenchomp is free), because you can add limitless new slides, allowing students to go through multiple-step problems, or many problems in one video. Issues with this app are at that you cannot exit the app while it exports the video, which can take a long time depending on the amount of content. However, I love that you can export as a PDF and print the slides, if you don't need the audio. It really is a one-stop shop!
