How I Use It
We are still working on a Bring Your Own Device policy at my school, and as soon as that passes I will be using Evernote with all of my students, but for now I have only had the opportunity to use it with one IEP student who is allowed to bring his iPad. He was constantly forgetting to turn in work, so we made a quick checklist for all of his subjects. If he has homework in a class, he checks that subject's box as soon as it is assigned. Then when he gets home, he easily knows what work is missing. It has vastly improved his grades, and he isn't often behind anymore.
My Take
I personally use Evernote when I am taking notes, and I would love to show more of my students how to use it. I think it really helps with organization, and I think it would be great to have in college.
