How I Use It
We use this for everything in the classroom. The students are completely paperless, adding files to Evernote, as well as their own information from class discussions. All homework is completed in Evernote and can be shared directly with the teacher. Students also use the audio feature to record class discussions and reviews so they can access them later. This has allowed us to seamlessly connect all classroom information and store it in a single place. It has also eliminated the common phrase "I can't find my HW" since everything is stored locally and in the cloud.
Evernote is a great tool to help students record, collect, and organize information in a central location. It allows students to add images, audio, sketches, and files, as well as their own typed information. The tags are a useful way to help sort information into meaningful chunks, allowing the students to keep track of information easily. The formatting is user friendly, although the organization of stacks and notebooks can be a little difficult to explain to students. Overall this is a great product and my students love it!
