How I Use It
I used it as a whole class in a lab setting at first. As I became more familiar with it I began assigning teacher assignments in small groups for Math . The reading was left to the pacing of the program for about 6 weeks. I used it in a variety of ways when I assigned work. To front load ELL/SPED students, to assess if they got a concept, and to review past grade level material before we began a specific topic.
I really liked it. I was able to collect data on my students and where I saw that they needed support I was able to use this program to help me. I liked the work assigned to the students and that they are engaged. My student like eSpark and are using it during the distance learning. My struggle came when I wanted to see the work the students have completed. I would like to click on a button and see their grade all in one place. I teach 2 different groups and I struggled because I had to rely on another teacher to help me keep the students information and to assign work. I wish we could have made two different t classes in one place. I teach Math.
