How I Use It
This would make a useful center to meet the Common Core Standards in both math and reading. The apps, videos, and performance challenges are fun and align to a specific Common Core standard (or multiple standards). Each quest consists of a variety of activities targeting the same skill(s) and appeal to different learning styles. Students enjoyed the teaching video they created at the end of the quest.
My Take
This was a wonderful teaching tool. It helped me create personalized lessons. The students and teachers are able to set specific goals. When the goal is set, there are apps that are recommended. Some are free and some you have to pay for. When the student finishes the goal/quest, they get to create a video to show what they have learned. It could get pricey unless you always choose the free apps.
