How I Use It
I used eSpark in my classroom last year. I used it as a center during reading and math block. I liked the fact that the individual learning paths were based on assessment but I could also tweek it if needed. My students were engaged and learning just what they needed, from my strugglers to my advanced students. My students with an IEP flourished in ESparks where other attempts had failed.
I love using this daily in my classroom during my center time. This gives me an excellent tool for blending small group instruction with digital courseware. It is individualized learning at its best. My students loved the apps that addressed the strand they were working on. The videos they make at the end of a quest show me what they learned while giving them verbal and presentation skills.
