How I Use It

My class used Educreations to capture images of an assigned geometrical term. They added text, drawings, and audio descriptions (hints) of their word, without saying the geometrical term. Later they shared their videos within the classroom as students guessed their geometrical term.

My Take

Educreations is a great tool to use to move your instruction into the Modification level in SAMR. My students collaborated within their groups and presented their videos within the classroom. They were asked to create a visual representation to help themselves and others visualize frequently used words in our math class. This tool helped students learn vocabulary more efficiently. It could be pushed up the SAMR ladder by having students share their videos with other classrooms.
