How I Use It
I have used this to introduce, review, and enrich lessons. You, or the students, can design mini-lessons that can show step-by-step directions. You control what is on the screen and record the audio to be played. I have had difficulty in the past with making a mistake in the presentation and having to start all over again, but they have been working on better editing options. Once you get the video set up, you can save it for display on other medias as well. In the future, I am planning on using this for more of a flipped learning style where the students will watch the video for homework and during class we will focus on repetition and practice towards mastery. It can also be used as a review in stations where the students can view the videos at any times.
This is a very valuable tool. I like how you have control over everything that will be displayed. It can help the students be introduced or review the lessons. As a potential tool for enrichment, you can have students create their own video explanations on any topic.
