How I Use It
I use this app weekly at my literacy center. Students have fill in the blank sentences on paper. I take a photo of the paper and set it as the background. Then, I read aloud the sentences and guide them to finding the missing words. Students watch the 5-6 minute video as they complete their work. It is invaluable in helping my autistic students to work independently while also receiving instruction and support, and it effectively allows me to be in two places at once.
This app is a great way to spread yourself around the classroom by recording mini-lessons that students can watch independently or in a small group while you work with others. Students can also use it to demonstrate their understanding of a concept by labeling, narrating, and manipulating content.
