How I Use It

I use Dropbox as a storage space to share PDFs with students on the iPads. Students access Dropbox and click on the file which could be instructions for a task or a printed storybook. I also use Dropbox to transfer images and videos off the iPad to the laptop for student created projects.

My Take

Dropbox is an excellent solution for transferring documents from digital devices to a laptop. The interface is simplistic visually, which makes tech-resistant individuals more willing to use the tool. The process of creating an account may be a bit cumbersome, requiring the individual to activate their account through an emailed link, but once set up, the Dropbox account is very easy to use. It was a little frustrating to have a minimum storage space, but I did like the options Dropbox provided to earn additional space.

Dropbox is the best app for transfering content to/from laptop and iPad.
