How I Use It
Great review to overcome summer Brain Drain. In my Algebra class, we let the students play Dragonbox for a week at the beginning of the year. Then, after the student have mastered each level, we project it on the smartboard and walk the students through the concepts taught. This is a low risk way to ensure each student has the same knowledge and vocabulary at the start of the school year.
This is an engaging game for a student at any math level. Students will gain a knowledge of the rules without the theory.
