How I Use It
I worked with students from 8 and 9 years old to adults with Composer Pro. They were creating interactive books. They needed to write a story, create storyboards, create the art and import those assets into Composer Pro. They then learned to program the app for page turns, interactive features as well as adding animation and sound effects. This is a great app to use for developing creative communication that requires strategic thinking and coordination to complete. The students were all very pleased with their work.
My Take
This app is a great tool but does require that the teacher have a working knowledge of the product. Simple projects can be completed with relative ease but there is the potential for a high level of sophistication in the projects. Helping students become savvy visual communicators and programmers are great benefits of this app.
