How I Use It
I use this tool in small group learning. The students choose the candy they want to work with, and then begin the game. They begin by separating the candy by colors, they then count how many of each color and compare which has more and less. I used it in my special education classroom to help students learn the math basics. It is best used in small groups 1-2 students. The students love it and they learn a lot.
I feel this is a great tool for teaching math basics. Students are sorting, counting, recognizing colors, and comparing, These are four very important standards in early education. I feel this is a great tool for young learners. I would highly recommend it. It has great graphics that keep the kids entertained and wanting to play over and over.
