How I Use It
The way that I would use this app in my teaching is by having all my students download the app so that I can help make an impact in their life in and outside the classroom. The way that I would do this is by give me my students a vast amounts of resources to help guide them with any issues that they have outside the classroom such as time management, depression, and concentration. This ad provides the students with master classes taught by professionals on certain life topic like anxiety, better sleep practices, and study habits. We expect our students to come into the classroom physically and mentally prepared to learn but how can we expect this when our students are struggling to keep up with self-care. Some students struggle with issues that they don’t feel like sharing with us and with this app I can assign master classes to all students on topics that I feel are important like depression and that way whenever the time comes that they need help on depression , they will have already learned how about getting help or helping themselves. Self care goes in hand with self improvement wether in or outside the classroom and i want to help my students prioritize self care.
My Take
My overall opinion about this application is that he can help a lot of students keep up with school because it can help students break down any barriers that may be holding them back from achieving their academic goals. I know that myself while in middle school I struggled with time management and if this app was around during my time I would have found ways of self organization and scheduling my day to finish tasks on time. What I liked about this app is that it can be used for students of all ages and even after they’ve left any academic institution and begin to live their adult lives.
