How I Use It

My students are kindergartners. They love anything to do with the iPad . Now that we have reached April, I have readers and writers in my classroom They are getting into informational writing. The students enjoy adding details. I think Book Creator is perfect for them. I would use this is a small group, 2-3 students. Students would be able to take their writing and turn it into an online book. What a great way to get them excited about being a reader and a writer! In small groups the students will transfer their book they created into book creator.

My Take

Overall the Book Creator program is easy to use and apply in a small group setting. I like how easy it is to customize a book using personal photos, photos from the internet, and the pen tool within the program. My students will have a great time taking pictures or creating their own images to include in their books. I am always looking for ways to provide high quality work for my scholars. The possibility of what they can create by using their writing pieces or their imaginations is endless!
