How I Use It

I use Book Creator for my students to allow them to produce a publishable eBook about the content they've learned. They can work collaboratively as a group remotely or connect to our Apple TV using an HDMI cable to work on one device. Students add in multimedia such as images, self-made videos or speech to enhance the text. Book Creator now allows app smashing of many other apps to be embedded into the pages of the book. This allows my students to add in Google Docs. Google slides, blog posts. podcasts or Apple Clips videos to their Book Creator pages.

My Take

This tool is invaluable for my language arts instruction as it has modifications to allow all levels of learners to produce original content about what they are reading and learning. There is a learning curve for adding content, which takes the students some time to master, and to be able to have access to the full platform with the collaboration features, there is a fee.

Amazing way for students to produce original content in an eBook format, with multimedia easily embedded into any page.
