How I Use It
Big Kid Life Fire Fighter begins with an easy to follow tutorial with voice and visuals. The graphics are crisp and colorful and very engaging for my Pre-K student. The narrator provides tips as the fire fighter must problem solve to rescue the animals. I don't think this would be an appropriate tool for whole class activity, but rather a tool for individuals. While the problem solving skills are used throughout, the quizzes are at the end and may be glossed over by excited students.
My Take
I think Big Kid Life Fire Fighter is a good, interactive problem solving game for younger children. It offers support via the narrator, and allows adults to set up an account to monitor the progress of the student. I like that it offers various levels of difficulty and still offers support via suggestions by voice ad picture. I will use this with my own children, as well as very young students.
