How I Use It
I have used this app to show student work. For example, in my math class, I had the students record themselves introducing their graphing project poster and then we tagged that video to the poster so that all could hear their presentation. I used this app to tag students descriptive writing. In the future, I would like to use this app to make videos to attach to homework as "homework help." I would also like to have students tag more items and create more of the videos. If/when we get wireless I would use this app to create interactive bulletin boards both in and outside of my classroom. I would like to use it to link a video of me when they scan a certain page in a text book. The possibilities are really endless!!
I love this as a teaching tool. It engages the kids and I think that used as "homework help" it can really be beneficial for those times when you just can't be sitting right there with them. I liked how easy it was to use once I figured it out. Follow any step by step directions that you can find online, or Google for you tube videos on how to do it at first. Once you do it a few times, you will be a pro, but it does take a little bit to get in the groove!
