How I Use It
I don't use Animoto for it's intended use very much. Instead, I have my students create a "practice story" with it as homework. I have them create at least two slides for each time they practice their instrument. They can look at their first slide and try to think of things they can improve with how they look (holding the instrument correctly, posture, etc.). Then they can make a second slide showing how they improved. It doesn't yield much creativity, but it's great for self-evaluation and reinforcing technique, posture, etc.
This resource is intended to allow students to create their own story using slides. It's pretty easy to use and quick to create. It brings out the creativity in students and teachers alike.
