How I Use It

This program allows students to create short, news-report style documentaries that has all sorts of potential. The style reminds me of John Green's Crash Courses. As a history teacher, I would likely have students create one of these shorts at the end of a unit for enrichment. I could see maybe having students pick one historical figure or important event from the era and creating a doc on that.

My Take

This definitely has its place if you have the resources. The biggest problem is the Adobe program is only compatible with iPad (no iPhones, android, etc.). You would need several iPads in your school and make this a group project, or if you are lucky enough to have a classroom set.
