How I Use It
Most of the information we read in my class comes from the Internet. There's just so much great stuff out there! However, this makes it more difficult for my students to highlight and annotate while they read. That's where Adobe Reader comes in handy. We use Adobe Reader with PDFs, and my students are able to highlight and write notes on top of the PDF. Then, they are able to email the notes to themselves to keep. This has been especially helpful for my ELL and special needs students because the switch to digital materials didn't have to be a complete change. Also, all of my students love that they can keep all of their notes online. No more lost papers!
Overall, I think this is a great product. While there are some additional add ons that cost some money, the free version is great, and I have never felt the need to make a purchase. This product will help your students make the switch to reading digital materials without taking away annotations.
