How I Use It
I would use this app for individual practice. It does not seem beneficial as a whole class activity but rather as a tool to support the ELA pedaguge students receive in class. The app allows you to focus on a specific area such as blends, r controlled, prefixes, etc. and focus in on a specific blend, prefix… It does not offer verbal support.
My Take
Wonder World will offer students the opportunity to practice what they learn. Some skills are best learned through rote memorization, and I Wonder World provides a chance to practice this skill! The app does not offer verbal support, but gives directions and photo clues. It can have multiple users. I think this app would be most beneficial in a small group or working individually.
