How I Use It

Students in my middle school classes would create trading cards for their vocabulary - both the Tier 2 and Tier 3 terms. They would save the images their camera roll and then post them to the class discussion board. This allowed everyone to have copies of trading cards for review purposes. The students appreciate that there are prompts for each of the sections to remind them what they should think about when completing the cards.

My Take

I'm always looking for tools that can be used across the content areas, with little need for tutorials - this is one of those apps. I would like for there to be other ways for students to customize their cards, but I also appreciate that the limited choices probably keep the focus where it belongs: on developing an understanding of vocabulary terms.
