How I Use It

I used Photo Grid to allow my 8th grade students to create a photo collage to add to their Google Sites. Students were using the app very quickly and easily. They were able to manipulate the photos and utilize the features with very little assistance from me. Basically, they wanted me to stop talking and get out of their way. I did not have any criteria except the students needed a photo collage to place in the site. The students used iPads to create the collages. I had some students who chose to use their iPhones instead of the school iPads. I allowed this and it worked well. Students did need some assistance sending the photos to their Google Drive. It made it to Google Drive and was easily added to the homepage of the site. Students were engaged the entire period.
