How I Use It
I found it an easy application to use. I have used it with second graders to created an audio book about what they hoped to learn in second grade They were able to take their own picture and narrate their story. I also used it with third graders for a state research project. I have usually done this project as a written report. I did find that using this app generated a greater interest in the children. They loved it. However, I did want them to do some writing for the report and this is where I found the text usage to be very limited. It really does not allow the students to write more than one sentence without the text getting too small on the page. You cannot exit or format the writing.
Next I will try it with the younger students - kindergarten or first grade. They won't write as much as the third graders.
I like the concept of the app and the ease of use. The text usage and editing is limited. For instance, you cannot edit the text box once it is placed. If a student finds an error, they have to retype all of their writing again. I also would like to export the book as a stand alone file.
