How I Use It
I'd probably not use a basic flashcard app like this in the classroom. It might be useful as a homework app for reinforcement. But with so many other means of practicing math facts (which are much more entertaining and interactive), I'd not recommend this app to students. I believe they would find it extremely boring.
My Take
This app is really nothing more than flashcard practice on the iPad. If using the device would make a student practice their facts, then it serves its purpose. However there isn't much incentive to use it within the app itself. The Challenge setting is slightly more interactive in that the answer needs to be input into the equation. Even with that the app fails to motivate a learner. Progress reports can be emailed to a parent or the student themselves, but that really isn't much of a bonus feature. The fact that the app is 99 cents (rather than free) is surprising considering the lackluster features of this app.
